With inflation pushing 9% and both New York and London Fashion Week right around the corner, we wanted to show how fiscal responsibility could be the hottest thing to do in 2022. Hey Gen-z, Don't let inflation deflate you! NerdWallet is here to help you live your best life both fashionably and financially, through a line of outrageous couture inspired by practical solutions to fight inflation.

We partnered with UK fashion designer Jack Irving to design a line of inflatable couture, each representing a different smart financial decision you can make to fight inflation. Creatively we wanted it to feel like an authentic parody of high fashion hype, which guided the design and edit. Industrial house music soundtrack? Check. This entire production had a turnaround of about 6 weeks from green light to live on social during NY Fashion Week.

Impact

This campaign blew up, exceeding our engagement goals on social by 745% and driving lowest CPE to date of any brand activation. We also exceeded our total PR coverage goal by 200%.
